De GoPro HD HERO2 Motorsports edition is een van de opvolgers van de populaire GoPro HD HERO. De verbeteringen ten opzichte van het oude model zitten hem vooral in de snelheid van de processor, de scherpte van de lens en de Wi-Fi-compatibiliteit. Deze laatste feature maakt het mogelijk om via de optionele Wi-Fi BacPac live te streamen. Bovendien is hij compatible met de optionele afstandsbediening. Uiteraard filmt de GoPro HD HERO2 Motorsports edition in Full HD 1080p met een brede beeldhoek van 170 graden. Met de meegeleverde accessoires is de camera goed voorbereid op stevige actie.
